What you should know about MAXIM HOMES LTD.
We are a small family orientated company dedicated to building good quality family homes. Our small team is passionate about quality and believe everybody who builds a new home deserves the highest level of workmanship regardless of the budget. Our fixed price contracts ensure that there are no nasty surprises and that you can enjoy the peace of mind of knowing the cost of your project from the outset. Durability If it’s a rental investment your repairs and maintenance bill will be minimal as your tenants will be unable to put their foot though the wall.
Rather than using traditional timber framing and plasterboard, buildings are constructed using solid wood panels. These panels are provided already prepared to the desired specifications, with door and window openings marked and scissor cut, this system is called MAXIM. The MAXIM Construction System is used to create the interior surface as well as the structural and bracing elements of the building, and offers walls and ceilings that are strong, durable and provide a beautifully smooth finish. MAXIM is very suitable for residential housing, commercial projects including commercial building fit outs, schools, development housing, hospitals, and multi storey apartment buildings.
The MAXIM Construction System, including the panel manufacture process, the pre cut factory operation and the MAXIM Design Construction manual, have been fully appraised by the Building Research Association of New Zealand BRANZ Appraisal Certificate
Walls and ceiling panels are delivered to site by truck and placed in position using a lengthy reach hi ab. In conventional building you have timber framing and plasterboard taking up about 113mm of space for the wall. Sign off on site plan and building consent application, resource consent if required, sign contract, Schedule of works, guarantee documentation and service connection requests. So you have looked around and decided that building new is the way forward where to now?. Commence construction temporary power, earthworks completed, floor constructed, building erected, trusses and fascias up, electrical fit out, roof on, aluminum joinery fitted, plumbing pipe out, insulation fitted, cladding fixed, inside fit out, install services, driveways etc. We will assist you through the process, if you’d like someone to have a look at a site earlier to purchase we’d be glad to do some homework and meet you onside to discuss the options and identify any issues. The MAXIM all in one panel system only takes up 36mm leaving the rest of this space for you to donate your customers for use in their building.
