Little Tree Studio Appartment is self contained with a
self-catering kitchenette and its own private bathroom/toilet
facilities and can sleep up to FOUR guests at a cost of $110 to $160 in
summer and $120 to $180 in the winter ski season per night. A minimum 2
night stay applies in winter. Located at 25 South Belt (behind Big Tree Lodge Methven.), just two streets from the centre of Methven, Mt Hutt Village, and an easy 3 to 4 minutes walk to the supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars in Methven Town Centre.

Getting here and around - There are shuttle buses to Methven which depart from Christchurch Airport or Cathedral Square in Christchurch several times daily in winter or in early morning direct to Mt Hutt Ski-field. If you are without transport you can catch a shuttle to the mountain from our gate. These should be pre-booked. From Little Tree Studio, allow 10-20 minutes drive to the base of Mt Hutt and an hour or so to Christchurch Airport. Travel times vary depending on road conditions.

Little Tree Studio is a Motel style unit nestled behind our main lodge, Big Tree Lodge Methven.
It is designed to accommodate up to four guests who are looking for
private Lodgings, with their own amenities, cooking and numerous other
facilities.
Little Tree Studio provides visitors with the security, privacy and quietness to enable a relaxing and restful stay after their time on the Mt Hutt ski field or visiting the many other attractions in or around the Methven and Ashburton areas.
Booking Conditions:
Confirming reservations: Acceptance of a reservation requires provision of a valid credit card number, cardholder name and card expiry date and will be charged for the total fee.
Cancellation Policy: Due to our small size, and the seasonal nature of our accommodation, cancellations can affect us significantly. Once booked the following will apply; a full tariff will be charged for cancellations within 28 days of the booked date, outside that time a refund will be credited less one nights tariff. The minimum stay is 2 nights in the ski season (mid June to late October).

Accommodation at Little Tree Studio is available all year round for both your winter skiing holiday or your summer vacation; hot air ballooning, hiking, jet boating, cycling
or many of the other regions breath-taking attractions. With it only
being two blocks away, and within walking distance, from the center of
Methven it is ideally situated to allow you to be involved in the
community yet be far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness of Methven.
Little Tree Studio guests have available free parking to the side of the main lodge as well as access to our ski/snowboard lockup at no extra charge. The studio itself is strictly “Smoke Free” but you may smoke outside on the verandah where seating is provided.
Little Tree Studio is the self contained, self-catering younger sibling of the large colonial villa and former Vicarage - Big Tree Lodge (formerly known as Redwood Lodge). We welcome your inquiries and will help make your stay in Methven memorable with Motel type accommodation at budget prices.
